After months of work preparing documentation  we are delighted to announce that Arts Council England have confirmed the Museum’s Full Accreditation. This nationally agreed standard is to ensure all museums are sustainable, focused and trusted, inspiring the confidence of the public and funding and governing bodies.   

This accreditation was awarded with no caveats or requested changes to our plans and will stand us in good stead for the future. It also means we are able to seek the full range of heritage grants. This may be essential as we try to improve accessibility to the Museum, potentially via a lift.
